Description
The Black Kaweah is one of the great peaks of the high sierra,(to quote R.J.Secor)but having had a fascination for climbing it for years i (4years to be exact)I finally summitted the Black. I completely agreed with Secor's description and having stood on top in 2000,I can fully concur w/Secor.It is a classic Sierra peak w/commitment. The easiest and shortest approach was rougly a 16 mile mostly off trail route.
