Description
The Kwangde massif is the last part of the Lumding Himal and rises above Namche Bazaar. This is one of the trekking peaks of Nepal, so a trekking-peak permit is sufficient (if you choose to climb it legally.)The ridge contains at least 4 peaks. all can be climbed with one permit. All peaks of this ridge are above 6000m and inhibit some relatively small glaciers and some steep rock-faces. This peak offers views of the Rolwaling, Cho Oyu, Everest and Ama Dablam regions.
