Technical Climb
Mount Columbia is the second highest mountain in the Canadian Rockies, and the highest located entirely within Alberta. It is a majestic snow and glacier-clad peak, towering over 6,000 feet from its northern base. It rises at the northwest corner of the 100-square mile Columbia Icefield. The Icefield is unique in that it forms a tri-oceanic divide, providing melt-off that will ultimately end up in the Arctic, Pacific, and Atlantic Oceans.
