Scramble
Located on the west side of the Kananaskis River directly southeast of Mount Inflexible it is a a high point on a long ridge which extends southeast to near the Lower Kananaskis Lake. There is a moderate scrambling route on the east slopes which appear quite steep but are easy enough to scramble up. Once at the top of the ridge a short walk southeast gains the summit. Named by Walter D. Wilcox and H.G. Bryant in 1922 after Major W.E. Lawson who was employed with the Geological Survey of Canada and killed in France in World War I.
