Description
One of 6 10,000-foot peaks in Glacier National Park, Mount Merritt is most easily recognized from the south. Old Sun Glacier, a small hanging glacier of sorts, covers Mt. Merritt's south-southeastern flank - giving the mountain a very distinct and dramatic appearance from the south.
