Namibia is famous for his granite domes. The most popular one is the Spitzkoppe. The Big Spitzkoppe looks like a big chimney and can only climbed with rock-climbing equipment. The biggest part of the Spitzkoppe are the Pondoks directly behind the Big Spitzkoppe and just a little bit lower. The Pondoks contain of three gigantic granit domes, polished by wind and water. It's only possible to climb Nr. 2, although this tour is dangerous, too. It'll take you about 1 and a half hours by scrambeling up this 45 degree steep slope. If you slip, you'll be dead. On the top you have a fantastiv view on the savanna, the Brandberg (Namibias highest mountain - a extinct volcano) an the Erongo mountains. In the town Spitzkoppe you can ask for Naftalie Goagoseb, he's a good guide and punctual, too.
