Description
One of the easiest 4000m peaks of the Alps, from the north-east. not steep and long 4.5 hours from Brittaniah¸tte, over the hohlaubglacier, and most of the time over the Allalinglacier. This glacier was once so big, that it blocked the upper part of the Saas-valley, and created a lake. When the ice barrier collapsed , this caused severe destruction in the Saas-valley.
