Walk up
Vihren, highest peak on Pirin Mountain.Vihren is the second highest peak on Balkan peninsilia after neighbour Musala peak( 2925m highest peak on Rila Mountain). But Vihren is more interesting and difficult for climbing than Musala . There is posibilities that The Mitikas Peak (Olimp mountain In Grecce) is higher than Vihren but I am not shure because altitudes for him are 2911-2917m dependence of source. Climb are began from Vihren chalet(1950m). Vihren is most beatiful in winter when he is cover with snow. From altitude 2500m to the top he look like con. Cone is cut-off from north-east and inapproachable, you can climb from soth-west. There is danger from avalanche (rocky, in winter snow). View from summit is remarkable, you can see three countryies, Bulgaria, North Grecce and east Macedonia.Pirin is has 130 lakes and 54 peaks over 2500m altitude.
