Cathedral Mountain and Twin Spires are accessed from the Moses Creek Track and then via Grail Falls, Chalice Lake and Tent Tarn. The Moses Creek track leaves from the southern terminus of the Mersey Forest Road. A Parks and Wildlife Service Remote Area log book is located in a shelter just across a suspension bridge a little over a km along the track. Climbing Cathedral Mountain can be achieved in a long day but is usually a 2 - 3 day trip, camping on the Cathedral plateau or at Chapter Lake near the base of Grail Falls.
