Emei Shan Climbing notes shared by Mountain-Forecast users

  There are two routes up to the peak, one hiking route, one driving route to upper middle bus stop/cable car.
  Prepare layers of clothes, esp if you are going up the hiking route.
  There are lodges upper middle on the mountain where you can spend overnight preparing for the sunrise early next morning.
  To arrive at the lodge before it's too late, start the climb before around 10am.
  Recharge energy when you see noodle stands, snack bars.
  There are villagers selling crampons up where there maybe snow (went in end of Dec.), buy them.
