A nice ski tour from the cattle grid at the top of Butter Tubs pass, follow the fence all the way to the summit & back. Extend the tour along the 'Great Traverse' all the way to the Cumbria border never drops below 600m.

Best climbed from Thwaite in Swaledale, fantastic views when clear to the Lakes & Yorkshire Dales. 3rd highest peak in North yorkshire. can be climbed from Buttertubs Pass but tends to be wet. Excellent ski touring peak.
