Naaman from United States
This is a very challenging hike, but can be completed with Mount Charleston, which is less than 4 miles away, as an out and back or a loop connecting the south and north loops. It can also include Mummy Mountain as part of an extremely challenging and more technical climb if you do the full loop.
There was fall foliage during the first 2 or three miles, then more of a pine forest til you reach the junction to Griffith Peak. From that point it’s less than half a mile, but you gain another 500 vertical feel completely exposed. The views from the top are amazing!
