Minimum of a 2 day climb.
Ice axe and crampons are required for last portion.
Prices and guides are negotiated in Haba Village.
Base camp has hard sided shelter with co-ed rooms with bunk bed for 200 rmb a night.
Guide fee starts at 2-300 rmb a day.
Village to base camp is a 6 hour hike from 8,000-13,300 ft
Base camp to summit requires a alpine start at 3am and the unofficial turn around is 10am.
Wind and some exposure to large cliffs are the main dangers of the mountain.
