There are a few ways to get to the top. You can actually take a Jeep type vehicle and along the steep, skinny road that circles the mountain. Or there are several unmarked trails used. The most fun is the one to the left of the doors leading into the mountain. Or if you have connections, you can use the tunnels inside the mountain. You travel in a year round temperature of 58 degrees, with wet conditions having slimy material in spots. The start of the tunnel goes about 100 yards in a flat incline. Then you climb up 1252 stairs in 29 flights of stairs. The lighting is sparse. You have to bend you head a little due to the short roof height. Once you get to the top of the stairs, you either ride 2 elevators (small), or take 2 sets of winding stairs. It was the most beautiful places I lived. Wish I were still on the top. There is a large military building, smaller circular building with stairs, and a large antenna built into the side of the mountain.
