Jane Oldfield from Australia
I have two watercolour paintings by artist R. Roued that I would like to donate to a Mount Bogong repository.
One painting is of the Weston Hut : Bogong High Plains, the other a snow swept panorama labelled '"Toward Seamans" depicting cross country skiers making their way to a hut in the distance - possibly the Weston Hut?
They are small (15x11cm), attractive paintings and well framed. Framed they measure 30 x 25cm.
Is there a Mt Bogong Clubhouse or Museum where these paintings could find a home?

JMH from Australia
Past the tree line the weather can change dramatically and instantly. It is easy for a white out to occur where visibility is reduced to your feet. Locating the pole markers was impossible for our last visit in 2015, but moments earlier we had witnessed five to six poles in to the distance. Wind chill is the killer, be prepared.
