The day of my hike was 7/18/18, which was a sunny, cool day with some winds at the summit (30-35 mph, and some pretty fierce gusts). I ascended via the Jackson Branch and descended by the Webster. All trails were clear of blowdowns, and the water level was low, so the crossings were easy. There are a few rock scrambles on both trails, but nothing too strenuous. The summit is bare, so has a 360 degree view of the surrounding area, and they are some fantastic views! Total time on hike was a little over 6 hours, and that includes a while at the summit, and breaks along the trails to view wildlife. All in all, this a great day hike- minimal effort for a great reward at the top!
