Mount Ripinski Climbing Notes

Andrew Swift from UNITED STATES writes:

There are two trails that lead up this mountain... one is a long and rather gentle hike from the Young Road terminus, and other is another beast altogether, referred to as the Piedad Cut-off trail. It's steep and gains a lot of altitude fast. It's great if you're in good shape and ready for a scramble.
The mountain has two summits, the South and the North, of which the North is a little taller. You'll know you've reached it when you see the sign. Be sure and sign the register before you leave the summit.
The views from up here are well worth all the sweat expended to get here, and there are interesting things to see for just about anyone with any interest in the natural world.
