Nice easy climb, about 2.5 miles one way. Nice ledges for plenty of views to the South on the ascent and decent. Summit views to the north complement the hike. Good for dogs and kids, too.

I climbed this mountain on 2/16/2013 and 2/18/2013. Both days snowshoes were used. On 2/16 started at 9:00am, the average temp was between 27-32 degrees with very little wind. Sunny with some clouds and great views over the lake and behind the mountain.
On 2/18 started climbing at 11:30am, clear and sunny skies. It was blustery and cold. Temps lower 20s and winds over 15mph. On the summit, temp were single digits.
Trail is well marked. Happy Hiking!
