If you are going to climb WIlbur, be sure to have no fear of heights or exposure and make sure to take your time and be very technically careful. The rock is truly rotten and rockfall from other climbers in your party is a real hazard. Make sure to take turns climbing up cliffs, couloirs and chutes and for those below, find a place where you are safe from rockfall. Do not underestimate the level of exposure, especially on the descent. If you need more info and will be there during the summer months, feel free to stop in the Many Glacier Hotel dining room and ask for me, Sean. I have successfully climbed it three times and it is one of my favorite peaks in the world.
