The Uluguru Mountains are a mountain range in eastern Tanzania, named after the Luguru tribe. The main portion of the Uluguru Mountains is a ridge running roughly north-south and rising to 2,630 metres (8,600 ft) altitude at its highest point. Enjoy fresh cool climate and rugged adventurous trails. Dinners sourced directly from the local farmers and wild berries for dessert hand picked from the forest. This hike is truly a direct support to the community of Uluguru. Be part of it. Be a responsible tourist.

When climbing Uluguru mountains the best accommodation would be Nashera Hotel. Nashera hotel has a big reasonably priced big rooms with a great atmosphere and an outstanding view of the Uluguru mountains and a great welcoming staff , although service not that good. You don't necessarily need a guide to take you up the waterfall and people on the mountain are very friendly and don't mind giving directions to your ideal destination. Take lots of water and your swimsuit to take a dip on the waterfall. Very steep mountain but fun on the way down. Good luck :)
