Mountain Dood from United States
A late entry on my previous submission in July 6, 2021' Submitted Telescope July 20th. Straight forward trek. Get a early start, trek is on the longer side 15 miles round trip. It is possible to make a two day trek out of this. Easy to backpack to the Saddle and pitch a tent. However, if you choose to do this, very exposed and most likely be very windy and cold during fall, spring, winter, and even Summer months be prepared! Spectacular views everywhere you look, bristlecone pines too! Go now!

2-4 foot of snow starting at the kilns. Lots of soft snow in the bowl up to Rogers Peak. Some ice too.
Made it to the ridge with wet shoes, Tons of wind today on the ridge instant cold caused us to return back. 3 people on the trail.
Shout out to Danny.

On 2/8/16 it was cold enough at the peak that my water bottle froze in under half an hour after pulling it out of my pack. This is in contrast to the ~38 degree weather that Mountain-forecast projected for the day. There was enough snow and ice to need crampons / ice axe. Gusts of wind felt stronger than 20mph.
I hiked from Shorty's Well at -240 ft to the peak. Snow started around 5,000 or 6,000 feet, and was up to waist deep in drifts along the ridge near the peak, with most of the peak having ~2ft of snow.
